Perched at the height of 3,000 metres above sea level, it has been recognised as the second largest monastery in the world. The monastery is believed to be 400 years old.

Leave for Madhuri Lake. The Picturesque Lake is locally known as the Sangetsar Lake. From there visit the Indo-China border at Bumla Pass. The Pass is located at an altitude of 15,200 feet.

Drive back to Bomdilla. On the way to Bomdila you can visit the hot water spring in Dirang. Spend the evening visiting the various tourist attractions in Bomdilla.
